Northeast Learning Centers are Houston Community College-NE- supported facilities that serve students, faculty and staff in all disciplines. The staff at the NELC seeks to improve students' learning skills by targeting specific areas of concern.  Our aim is to teach strategies that students can use throughout their college careers.  Visit the NELC at any point in an assignment. Consult with a tutor for help with math, English, science, or try out any one of a number of software titles to hone your academic skills. You don't need an appointment and there is no charge for use of the lab. Word processing software and online tutoring services are also available.
